Fees & Valuable Paper Charges (2026)

Under Fees Law No. 492, work permits and exemption certificates issued to foreign nationals are subject to official fees. As these documents are classified as “valuable papers,” an additional valuable paper charge is collected pursuant to Law No. 210. For applications to work in Türkiye that are approved by the Ministry, both amounts must be paid separately.

If the required fee and valuable paper charge are not paid within 30 days from the notification date, the work permit / exemption application will be rejected.

The 2026 fee amounts are effective as of 1 January 2026, in accordance with the General Communiqué on the Fees Law (Serial No. 98), published in the Official Gazette dated 31 December 2025 (Wednesday), Issue No. 33124 (5th Duplicate). The valuable paper charge is TRY 964.00.
